Have you ever woken up and immediately have had a song stuck in your head? And then, only a few moments later, you’re singing said song because it’s so catchy? Well, that happened to me this morning with Cut Copy’s new-wavy track, “Take Me Over.”

Putting your bare feet on grass is definitely a great feeling, but what if you could take that feeling elsewhere, like the urban streets? Well, a little company known as KUSA is making your wish come true with their $31 flip flops.

Now, these aren’t made of real grass, and are instead made of Syn-Turf. But that’s ok, because they probably feel like the real thing anyways. So, would you wear these? If so, you can go ahead and buy a pair right now!

When I first heard this song around this time last year, I thought it was a brilliant, nostalgic-inducing, reverb-filled indie electronic tune. I quickly tried to find more beautiful songs from DyE, but at the time, he was a rather unknown artist. After not hearing anything about the guy for over a year, I decided to give the song another listen and look him up on Google. That’s when I found this video, with over 2 million hits on YouTube and another 276K on Vimeo.

I don’t want to give away the details of this video, so here’s the official description:

Directed by animation wunderkind Jérémie Périn, the video tells the story of a group of highschool kids ready for teenage mischief. They break into the local swimming pool intending a session of innocent nightswimming, in an awkward climate of romance and apprehension. What happens next is for you to discover here. NSFW.

A look through Das Racist’s discography will show you that these guys like to rap, especially on some hard beats. “The Trick,” however, is a chilled-out track produced by Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend, and sounds nothing like their other stuff, but I love it!
